In the year 2028, the world had plunged into chaos. The threat of a third world war loomed over the horizon, and tensions between nations had reached an all-time high. In the midst of this turmoil, a secret laboratory in the heart of Kansas City was working on a groundbreaking project.
The lab, run by a group of brilliant scientists, was dedicated to preserving extinct species. They had successfully brought back flying dragons, once thought to be nothing more than mythical creatures. But their success came at a price.
As the world descended into war, the lab became a target for destruction. The scientists knew they had to evacuate their creations before it was too late. They released the dragons into the wild, hoping they would find a way to survive in this new world order.
But the dragons were not alone. As they soared through the sky, they encountered other creatures that had been brought back from extinction. Some were friendly, others not so much. The dragons soon realized that they were now at the top of the food chain, and they had to learn how to fend for themselves in this new world.
Meanwhile, in small towns and farmland across the country, life had taken on a pioneer lifestyle. With electricity scarce, people relied on solar and wind power to survive. The big cities, on the other hand, were ruled by different mafia families who had built walls around them to keep out intruders.
Vehicles belonged only to the elite, as gasoline and diesel had become too expensive for most people to afford. Borders were messed up, and countries were protecting their own interests at all costs. It was a dangerous time to be alive.
In this world, farm girl Jae Byrd Wells discovered an egg that hatched into a flying dragon. She raised the dragon where she could ride on her back and roamed from town to town as an ambassador to the giant cities. Jae Byrd Wells was inspiring others along her journey to leave behind the looping of victimhood and rise up as warriors.
But flying dragons were now a problem. They were attacking crops and livestock, causing chaos and destruction in their wake. The SCA organization stepped in to teach people how to survive in this new world order. Dragon killers were being hired to take down these creatures before they caused any more damage. No one knew that soon, Ragazza Cavaliere Del Drago would make herself known to the world by rising as a rider.
